What does it cost to have an app developed?

Short answer: Having an app developed costs, as a guideline at Appiq Solutions, 5,990 EUR for an MVP (Basic), 11,990 EUR for Premium and from 19,990 EUR for Luxus, each net plus 19 % VAT. You get the fixed price for your project after a free first call, before anything is commissioned. What makes the difference in the end is not the platform but the scope.

Why there is no single number

If you ask what it costs to have an app developed, every vendor gives a different answer. That is not arbitrary. An app can be a form with a login, or a system with payment, chat, offline mode and a connection to your software. The price follows what the app has to do.

The three tiers at Appiq Solutions

My page app pricing lists three guideline prices:

  • Basic · MVP, 5,990 EUR: the smallest version that makes your idea testable. A few core features, a clear interface, running on iOS and Android.
  • Premium, 11,990 EUR: more features, more polish, more integrations.
  • Luxus, from 19,990 EUR: for larger projects with higher demands on scope and design.

All prices are net plus 19 % VAT. They are guidelines, the fixed price comes after the call.

What determines the price

These points drive the effort the most:

  • Number of features and screens. Every additional feature costs design, build and testing.
  • User accounts and roles. A login with permissions is considerably more work than an app without an account.
  • Integrations. Payments, calendars, maps or your existing system need interfaces and tests.
  • Servers and data. If the app needs a backend, an admin area or real-time features, that part is added.
  • Design. A custom interface with animations costs more than a clean standard layout.
  • Release. Submitting to the app stores is part of the project and needs preparation.

The cheapest route: an MVP first

An MVP is the smallest version that gives real users something. You learn early whether the idea holds, and you do not spend money on features nobody uses. With a clear scope, a guideline of 2 to 5 days of build time is realistic for a compact MVP. After that you can decide what comes next.

Questions you should have answers to

Before you collect quotes, write down briefly:

  1. Who is the user, and which problem does the app solve for them?
  2. What are the three most important features?
  3. Does it need accounts, payments or a connection to an existing system?
  4. Should it run on iOS and Android?
  5. Who maintains it after launch?

With these answers, quotes become comparable. Without them you compare apples and oranges.

How to recognize a serious quote

It states what is included and what is not. It has a fixed price or a clear range instead of open-ended hourly billing. It shows you something before you commit. And it says honestly when your project would do with a simpler solution, such as a web application instead of an app. That applies to me as well: if you do not need an app, I will tell you.

Software and CRM as an alternative

Sometimes the right answer is not an app but an internal system. Custom software and CRM are between 8,000 and 15,000 EUR with me. If it is about processes in your business, take a look at that. How AI fits into such processes is in the roadmap AI for business, and how agents take over work is on the page about AI agents.

The next step

The free first call takes 15 minutes. You describe your project, and I tell you honestly which tier fits and what needs clarifying. After that you get a preview and a fixed price. Only your yes starts the build.
